To many, Naturism is viewed, at best, as a strange, fringe activity. Needless to say, I disagree. But that doesn’t mean Im oblivious to the fact that many share this view. There are certainly things I see as odd that others don’t. So, to each his own.
I’ve written about overcoming that negative stereotype type, embracing naturism as part of who you are, many times. It’s not always a singular event. For most, it occurs over a series of milestones. Maybe it’s the first time you go nude at home, telling someone, experiencing social nudity, etc…. For me it was a similar series of events that drew me to the conclusion than naturism and I were inexplicably linked.
So to anyone out there still wondering, “am I”, I say, don’t sweat it. Don’t worry about someone else defining you or putting you in a box. Call it like you see it, trust your gut. Never feel guilt. Never be ashamed. Embrace your naturist self.
